Sample Projects

Sample projects have been built to demonstrate how individual applications can be combined to create powerful systems.

Microgrid - Rural GSP

This project demonstrates a small rural distribution network with a high degree of DER penetration. 

​

The solution demonstrates the network running as a microgrid, with the capability to perform a blackstart and support external network areas by exporting excess generation using a virtual power plant application.

Energy Market - VPP

This project demonstrates an large distribution network. The system includes an interactive energy market where flexibility services (Active Power and Reactive Power) can be procured as part of an energy market for balancing services.

Transmission ANM

This project demonstrates a single application system providing thermal and voltage constraint management over a wide geographic area.

KMITL Energy Market

This project is the basis of a proposed energy market platform for the MEA distribution network. The network includes an area modelled around KMITL.  A small amount of historical data is being used to drive the predictor function.

Sena Park - Flex Service

This project is the basis of a proposed energy market platform for the MEA distribution network. The network includes an area modelled around Sena Park.  A small amount of historical data is being used to drive the predictor function.

Urban Energy Market

This project is the basis of a proposed energy market platform for a large urban distribution network.   A small amount of historical data is being used to drive the predictor function. which in turn supports congestion forecasting.

NEOM - Demonstration

​This project is a demonstration of a large network in the North West of Saudi Arabia, from low voltage consumer demand and generation control, to prediction models to enable an energy market.
